Are you going on a road trip this summer with your family?  Have you thought about how you will entertain your kids in the car for hours and hours?

If you have young kids and you don’t want them spending the entire car ride using electronics or fighting, you may be wondering what type of activities you can do.

Today we have have a Road Trip Scavenger Hunt for kids to share with you.  I had made a nature scavenger hunt for kids last summer and my boys loved it!  After that we made a Neighborhood Scavenger hunt for kids version and I thought a road trip scavenger hunt would be fun too.  I know that my boys love playing games in the car and this is an easy, inexpensive and fun option.

Be sure to print out your own free printable road trip scavenger hunt below.

After you print out your Road Trip Scavenger Hunt be sure to laminate it and pack dry erase markers for the trip.  That way your kids can use it over and over again while you are on your road trip.  This can provide hours of fun while costing very little.

Kids will stay busy while they are looking out the windows searching for everything from a baby to a mailbox.  When they find the item on the list, they just need to cross it off and continue searching for everything else left on the list.

Scavenger hunts are so much fun for kids and if you want to have a prize for the person who finishes first, pack some snacks or special stickers.  When my boys used my nature scavenger hunt for kids, I gave the winner the first choice of popsicle color for their treat.  Nothing big, but they all loved it.

I hope you enjoy and have a great summer!

This would have been perfect for our road trip last weekend with 4 boys and 5 hours in the car.

I am having trouble with printing the Road Trip Scavenger Hunt For Kids page…
I find it, but it sends me to an error page and I can’t recover.
Is this an old page that no longer has a free print out?

I was hoping to use it for my granddaughter who will be moving to a new province in Canada. I have printed out the nature, new neighborhood and Zoo hunts successfully so far.

Thank you!
