Homemade Greek Seasoning
Making your own seasoning mixes with the spices that you probably have in your cabinet is a great way to get “cleaner” versions of pre-packaged seasonings.  Mainly getting rid of the unneeded sodium.

I store them in old spice containers and label them with a simple piece of tape. :-)

This homemade Greek seasoning is wonderful to use on chicken…either baked or in the slow cooker.  I have a great recipe for Baked Greek Chicken going live tomorrow morning so be sure to check back in for that.

INGREDIENTS:, inspired by He and She Eat Clean

1 1/2 TBSP Oregano

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp Onion Powder

1 tsp Basil

1/2 tsp Thyme

1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Parsley

1 tsp Paprika

1 tsp Black Pepper

Directions:

Mix all the above ingredients together!
