Healthy Apple Almond Butter Muffins

One of easiest ways to make sure you eat a healthy breakfast is just a little planning and baking ahead. It is so easy to skip breakfast altogether or grab pour a bowl of sugary cereal if you don’t have a lot of time.

Please promise yourself to not skip breakfast. It is such an important meal. My husband is the one who made us think hard about it. The name “Breakfast”. You are “breaking the fast”. Your body has not had any food / nutrients for typically 8-12 hours. Breakfast gives you the nutrients and energy to start the day. Your brain functions better. Remember, eating small healthy meals every 2-4 hours keeps your body’s metabolism working at it’s optimal pace. If you go too long between meals, your body goes into fat storing mode. We certainly don’t want that!
