Home Depot is having their Christmas Light Trade – In promotion this year again. From now until November 14th, you can take old Christmas lights…working or broken… to your local store and they will give you $3 off your purchase of new LED Christmas Lights.

Home Depot is having a has a series of FREE workshops in September on a variety of great topics like decorative flooring, painting, gardening and more.

If you are doing any fall projects around the house, you should check out the list. One that stands out to me is the “Save Energy. Save Money.” workshop. This would be a great one this time of year as Fall approaches, starting to weatherize our homes is an important way to cut utility costs and find ways to save energy.
